asianimperialism.

vintage lanvin.
a masterpiece.

Alexander Mcqueen.
so its from last last season. its probably even 'out of season'.
BUT it'll always be the norm to rock this piece. in India.
just tell 'em its a modified sari and that you're too cheap to get the whole 4m.

Akira Isogawa.
One of my fave designers waaay back in 2000.
I say 2000 because i haven't really been catching up on his work since. until now.
and i still love him.

he's japanese/aussie.

i loved that he always has some asian aesthetic in his pieces.

1. I love Akira Isogawa.. I stepped into one of his boutiques once along Paddington Street in Sydney and was blown by what I saw!
2. I love huge, indian-inspired pieces..but I have yet to find a way to fit them into what I am wearing currently...such a contradiction!
