when i was young-er
i would sit and read
all day long
imaginations ran wild
with Road Dahl's words
and Enid Blyton's secret seven adventures
Charlie and the Chocolate Factory
Matilda
the secret garden
cave of the golden rose
road to avonlea
All those old wordly stories
still swirling in my head
as i sit and reminisce
about those time spent reading.
i should really get back into my books
curl up in bed
hot chocolate in hand
a good book in the other.
