went kayaking last weekend-through the mangroves of Pulau Ubin.

It pissed rain halfway

'pissed' is probably an understatement.

lets try..

REALLY POURED

In between peddling like crazy before our kayak floods,

lightning strikes in the middle of the estuary

and 

trying to see through the flood of my black drippin' mascara

I took time out and thank my lucky stars

that i had a cap.

And also made a mental note.

DON'T wear make up while kayaking.

oh.

I also thanked the stars i made it back ALIVE.
